Mark Frey is currently the Head Football Coach & Athletic Director of Buchanan High School. This is his second year at Buchanan, where they went from 1-8 in 2018 and 3-6 in 2019 to an undefeated regular season, a conference championship and an 8-1 final record this season. Prior to coming to Buchanan, Frey was the Head Football Coach at Riverdale High School in Ohio for 5 seasons. Before that, he coached the Secondary at Ohio Northern University and prior to that, Frey was at Dordt College in Iowa, where he coached the Secondary and Special Teams.
